Internal Medicine Associates · Bronson Diagnostics · Rambling Road Pediatrics
Bronson Practice Management wished to consolidate Internal Medicine Associates and a new branch of Rambling Road Pediatrics in this fast growing area of Portage. They also decided to provide the Bronson Diagnostics business as a resource to these practices as well as the community. The development carried some restrictive covenants on roof pitch, exterior materials and colors. The building totals 18,800 square feet and is divided functionally into the three autonomous businesses with separate entrances for each. The massing is articulated to help identify each, and to bring the scale of this large building down to prevent overpowering the surrounding residential neighborhoods. Internal connections between practices provide the convenience of diagnostic services to the Internal Medicine Associates and Rambling Road Pediatrics patients. Waiting rooms are open and relaxing with high vaulted ceilings, clerestory glass and cove lighting. The pediatrics area includes two waiting "rooms" to separate well babies from children with colds or viruses, and contagious patients are brought in through a separate entrance. |
